Q1

Set up by a 58-yard run by senior running back Brandon Walters, Army capped off their opening drive with a two-yard touchdown run by senior quarterback Christian Anderson.

The drive went 64 yards on four plays, lasting 1:56.

ARMY 7, UCONN 0.

On the ensuing drive, Anderson took to the air and connected with sophomore wide receiver Isaiah Alston for 39 yards to double Army’s lead.

The drive went 49 yards on five plays, lasting 2:31.

ARMY 14, UCONN 0.

Q2

The Black Knights kept rolling to open the second quarter, as Anderson wrapped up Army’s third drive of the game with a one-yard quarterback keeper for another touchdown to take a commanding lead over UCONN.

The drive went 40 yards on eight plays, lasting 4:27.

ARMY 21, UCONN 0.

Keeping the touchdown trend going, the Black Knights continued their dominant offensive performance, starting off with four touchdowns in four drives against the Huskies. A 70-yard dash to the endzone from sophomore running back Tyrell Robinson put UCONN in a big hole with 11:40 still left in the second quarter.

The drive lasted just two plays, going for 82 yards in only 51 seconds.

ARMY 28, UCONN 0.

An interception from Army junior defensive back Marquel Broughton, his second in the last two games, was immediately followed by a 31-yard pass from Anderson to sophomore tight end Joshua Lingenfelter. Just two plays later, junior running back Jakobi Buchanan crossed the goal line for the Black Knights’ fifth touchdown of the first half in five posessions.

The drive went for 33 yards on three plays, lasting 1:26.

ARMY 35, UCONN 0.

Sophomore running back Anthony Adkins crossed the goal line on Army’s sixth drive of the game on a one-yard run to become the fifth different Black Knight to find the endzone.

The drive went 55 yards on 10 plays, lasting 5:49.

ARMY 42, UCONN 0.

Q3

The Huskies scored first in the third quarter, as freshman quarterback Tyler Phommachanh rushed 38 yards to the endzone for a much-needed touchdown for UCONN.

The drive went 68 yards on four plays, lasting 1:20.

ARMY 42, UCONN 7.

Responding with a score of their own, senior fullback Wilson Catoe found the endzone on a two-yard run to cap off a long drive for the Black Knights.

The drive went 75 yards on 13 plays, lasting 7:37.

ARMY 49, UCONN 7.

UCONN freshman running back Brian Brewton returned the ensuing kickoff back for a quick touchdown for the Huskies, taking it 96 yards to the endzone for the score.

Q4

The Army offense was unable to find the endzone in its first drive of the fourth quarter, but sophomore kicker Quinn Maretzki booted a 28-yard field goal through the uprights to extend the lead for the Black Knights.

The drive went 64 yards on 18 plays, lasting 11:17.

ARMY 52, UCONN 14.

The Huskies ended their afternoon on a high note, finishing their longest drive of the game with a four-yard touchdown run from Phommachanh.

The drive went for 88 yards on 10 plays, lasting 4:46.

Final Score: ARMY 52, UCONN 21.

The Black Knights remain undefeated at 3-0, while UCONN falls to 0-4.
